Batman and Catwoman

A few weeks ago, my boyfriend and I were invited to a masquerade party/birthday party for his sister.  I immediately came up with the Batman and Catwoman concept.  In the newest Batman movie, there is a scene where Bruce Wayne (Batman) and Catwoman are at a masquerade ball, and they dance together.  I thought, why not?  You know how much I love Batman!

So I immediately got to work on our costumes.  I decided to do simple masks, and use subtle details to really bring the costumes to light.

I added Bat symbols to Pat's mask, and I used black tulle and hot pink ribbon on my mask.  Pat's costume consisted of a tuxedo t-shirt, long trench coat, and a glow in the dark Batman belt buckle.

I made my shirt and cat ears, and wore black wet look leggings.

I'm thinking about writing a quick tutorial on how I made my ears.  They were really simple and you can make just about any color you need.

This photo looks like it came straight out of a comic book! I love it!
